Where were you ancestors 300 years ago? Not in America I’m sure. They came here from their home country seeking freedom! Having their government force them to have religion and culture that was not their own. So they migrated to America in search of something better and to practice whatever religion they chose and to still keep their culture close at heart. That is what makes up our present day American, these same dreams and beliefs.
Maybe it was even worse for your ancestors. Not having the means to support their family. Their babies were starving their own mom and dad were dead because no one had enough money to hire a doctor or buy medicine. So their only hope was America. Where they could bring a piece of their own culture and hope for a better life here.
Our ability to love and to accept as a nation is overwhelming and wonderful. We send rescue aids to Africa and relief organizations to China. We help people because we have the wealth to do so. We are saving starving children and helping villages come back from ruins but why not our own neighbors in Mexico? Those people in Africa, China and all over the world are using our resources and that is fine because we are helping our world become better. But then why are we getting so upset about these people who are willing to work for this money instead of expecting the U.S. to come save them. They are working themselves to death to help their families survive (and any other normal human being would do the exact same thing!!!). Is that such a crazy idea? They’re not on welfare and they’re not here because they want to destroy our nation because of our religious perceptions. They are here to make ends meet because their own country cannot supply that need.
I’m sure your own mother has said this to you and your siblings many times that you “have to share!” It’s how life works and the human thing to do. Stop being greedy and LOVE your neighbors don’t build a bigger fence just so you can keep ignoring them and to talk about them like they are dogs. I don’t know if Americans can ever truly accept our Mexican brothers and sisters as family. I do truly hope that someday we will be in need of them the way that they are in need of us now. I just pray to God that they do not treat us the way we have treated them!!
As a personal note, I do believe that there is a right and polite way to come into someone’s house and also their country. To my fellow Christians God himself talks more about helping the needy than anything else in the entire Bible. So why aren’t we helping. Mexican is not a dirty word and Mexico’s people are still our brothers and sisters in Christ and so we have a Christian duty to help. There are things we can do! Simply having love for those families who are suffering is the least any of us could do. Also encouraging the Government to make it more possible for people to come here legally because as of now it is very much impossible for too many people! Thank you so much for reading this. I hope no one is offended but only inspired to do what right and to know that just because someone is different does not make them evil.

| I AS MOST AMERICANS ARE VERY CONCERN ABOUT OUR FEDERAL AND SOME STATE GOVERNMENT BETRAYAL BY FAILING TO ENFORCE THE IMMIGRATION LAWS AND GIVEN SANCTUARY TO ILLEGAL ALIENS. WE MUST STOP THIS INVASION OF ILLEGAL ALIENS, SECURE OUR BORDERS AND ENSURE OUR SOVEREIGN AND THE RULE OF LAW. |

| on december 28,2006 my 4yrold grandson whom my husband and I raised since birth and my 42yrold brother were killed in an hit and run accident in Tampa Fl., by an illegal immigrant. We are both trying to understand how in this great country of ours this could happen to anyone at all. I would appreciate any and all feedback on this subject. Thank You. |
